At Home Date Night

Recently, Drayton and I had a date night at home. Many people believe having a date night means going out and spending hours at a restaurant, movie theater, bowling alley, etc. But, sometimes the best date nights are the ones you have at home on your couch. 

This evening involved going to Walmart and picking out some snacks we used to enjoy as children. This was so nostalgic for both of us because we had forgotten how enjoyable some of these treats were. We were able to share these snacks with one another and the stories that followed. Him and I also found out how similar of a pallet we had as children as well. 

For me, the snacks were delicious, but the best part of the date was strolling through the isles watching his eyes light up when he saw something he had put back far in his memory. 

I recommend this date to any couple who wants a good laugh, to share childhood memories, and are willing to spend $10-30.
